Major California Welcome Centers Boast EV Chargers
Thirteen of California’s Welcome Centers have at least one charging station on-site for visitors and locals alike. These chargers range in brand from Tesla, Electrify America and ChargePoint and can be found up and down the state at California Welcome Center locations including:

- Gilroy
- Los Angeles
- Ontario
- Pismo Beach
- San Clemente
- San Francisco

Hotels Offer Chargers and EV Packages
Hotels around the state have built EV chargers for their guests and some even incentivize driving an electric vehicle. In Sonoma, travelers can take advantage of Timber Cove Resort’s EV special, which includes VIP parking with a Tesla charging station, wine and stunning views.
Travelers embarking on a drive down California’s Highway 1 coastline can stop at Alila Ventana Big Sur and Post Ranch Inn to enjoy sweeping views of the Big Sur coastline and mouth-watering restaurants while charging their vehicle.
At Yosemite National Park, visitors can enjoy the sights of Yosemite Falls while charging their vehicle at the Ahwahnee Hotel or the Village Store.

State and National Parks Install Charging Stations
State Parks, including Will Rogers State Historic Park in Los Angeles, Hendy Woods State Park in Philo, Fort Ross State Historic Park in Jenner and Point Cabrillo Light Station, Van Damme, Greenwood, and MacKerricher Stateparks in Mendocino County have installed EV charging stations so visitors can plug in before visiting the park. Yosemite National Park also has charging stations located inside and outside the park.
